15/11/2008Would you give a home to a Rescue Cat?

Nationally, Cats Protection rehomes around 60,000 cats and kittens every year.  Our branch are always seeking loving new homes for the cats and kittens in our care.  If you would like to give one of our cats a new loving home then please contact us on 08453 714 218 or via email at northayrshirecats@hotmail.co.uk for further information.

For every cat that is homed, that not only gives that cat a new chance at life, it gives us an empty cat cabin to use immediately for another needy homeless cat to come into our care. We have a long list of cats waiting to come into our care.

All cats that we rehome have been vet checked, blood tested, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, de-flead, wormed and have passed their health check prior to being a new home.  All cats and kittens also come with 6 weeks complimentary pet insurance with Pet Plan.  This insurance can be renewed with Pet Plan after this period for any cat or kitten homed, regardless of their age.

The expense of treating each cat with the above often amounts to approximately £160 per cat plus the cost of the day to day expenses such as food and litter.  Whilst we do not charge a fee for re-homing, we do welcome any donation, typically around £30 per cat which you may wish to make.

We have many more cats in our care than are shown on this website and we apologise  for the lack of photos.  The cats refuse to pose for us and prefer to come for cuddles and hugs.

Ready for Homing
JerryJerry
Jerry is aged around 8 years old.

Jerry was abandoned at the vets, after straying for many months, and is now in branch care. He is a white male cat who loves his heated bed and he is deaf. He therefore would be best suited to an indoor home.
