Melvin house?

I drove past there today and notice that there were windows were broken etc thoughout the building.

Does anyone know if this has been bought or know what the future holds for this building?

I do know that application has been made for permission to demolish Melvin House by the present owner. It seems a shame to me that a house which has been used by the Water Board for so many years and maintained to a very high standard has been allowed to fall into such disrepair by the present owner.

It is being demolished at the moment.Another piece of Kilwinning's history disappears.
