19/11/2008Kilwinning teen suffers serious injuries after "prank theft" leads to fall from window

A Kilwining schoolboy (15) is in a Glasgow hospital with serious leg injuries after he stole a pack of crisps as a "prank" with a friend during a visit to the city on Monday. The boy fled to a second floor flat after allegedly being chased by the shopkeeper, and in the process somehow ended up falling to the concrete below. The police are investigating the incident.
