early Kilwinning 1940's

And hoping that it would NOT land on US, - but attack the rich ??? people in the "BALCONY" which cost THRUPPENCE.! whereas we children could get into a Saturday morning matinee for two 1lb jelly jars, OR one 2lbs jar.! Even at the Matinee there was a beautifully adorned" Master of Ceremonies"  (for want of a better word). HIS name was SANNY, and he specialised in breaking peoples bones who tried to gain admission without paying ,! I must admit that I-PERSONALLY was responsible for opening the emergency back-toilet door to allow ALL my Corsehill friends in for NOTHING.
