MacFloydMac Floyd's claim to be Scotland's most accurate Pink Floyd tribute band is confirmed by the large audiences they attract all over the country. Formed in 1995 for a one-off gig, the band have evolved over the years, adding two female backing singers to the line-up in 1999. They play songs from Meddle through to Division Bell, paying close attention to the details that matter such as sound effects, percussion, saxophone and lighting. The heart of the pulsating first set centers around the 30 million selling album Dark Side Of The Moon, however the band opt for the atmospheric ambiance of Shine On to set the mood and build the tension. They move on to perform most of the tracks including Time, Money, Great Gig In The Sky, reaching the blackout with the triumphant finality of Eclipse. |
